To start the journey, the first destination will be Jibhi Waterfall.
Jibhi Waterfall: I personally believe that waterfalls are like the magic of the universe. Not only it is soothing but makes you forget every problem and trouble in your life. The view is a beautiful scenic memory that gets imprinted in your mind and memory. And to explore the same, Jibhi waterfall is a perfect destination.
The Jibhi waterfall is an astonishing beauty and art of the universe which is playing under the valley of Tirthan. Just sitting there with eyes closed and trying to listen to every beautiful sound that the elements of the universe were chirping s what generally the tourists do.
The next stop after Jibhi waterfall is Chehni Kothi.
Chehni Kothi: Chehni Kothi is a tall fortified tower which is made of wood and stones. This architecture was built in the 17th century and spills one of the finest works of architecture in India. There is no road leading to the tower so trekking upstairs from Chehni Village is an ideal way. It is an awesome experience trekking and having fun around with a group of tourist!
The evening is then planned to explore the artist in oneself by singing around the bonfire. Tourists are requested to gather around a lounge in the homestay where the bonfire is organized. Most of the tourists love this part of the day as they feel relaxed and talk to other people and share their experiences.
And having a friend who is a musician and can play guitar is a plus for the entire group. I mean what else you can ask for! Group is then served food to enjoy alongside the bonfire.
Day3: Witnessing the beauty of Jalori Pass and Serolsar Lake
Jalori Pass: Tourist will then start their day with a perfect breakfast. All the guests will be driven to the other side of the valley to witness the beauty of Jalori Pass. It is a wonderful scenic view unfolding the beauty of nature! Sometimes we do not admire the beauty of nature because we are all are caught up with the urban life arrangements that we forget to encourage the beauty of nature. Tourists get thrilled by this view and plan a trip to this valley quite often!
Serolsar Lake: One of the amazing facts about Serolsar Lake is that it is located around 3100 meters above the sea level and covered by thick forest all over. Amazing pictures at the lake and enjoying the beautiful view is generally what everyone does here. People gather all the fresh scents and scenery that they will take back with them as precious memories. You can book Tirthan Valley Weekend Trip from Delhi with GoTravelobe!!!

After a tiring day, another bonfire is arranged in the evening for the people to get to know each other closely and have fun! And what is better than a perfect setting on the bonfire with music and dinner with memories.
Day 4: The last stop and then back to Delhi!
It is important to witness the scenic and magnificent beauty of waterfalls before people go back to their monotonous life. A drive to Chhoie waterfall is the last stop that will help in creating deep memories filled with the freshness of nature and beautiful scenic view which is unforgettable. After completing the breakfast, guests are requested to pack their bags as the group will directly leave for Delhi after visiting Chhoie Waterfall.
I believe everyone must experience such a trip once a year to keep your mind calm. I suppose this trip is generally known to be as one of the best decisions that people take! Many of the groups told us the same. After witnessing the beauty of Chhoie waterfall, the time comes to hit back to the road. Around 5 PM, the bus leaves from Aut where passengers are singing and talking about their experience in the valley. The group arrives Delhi around 9 AM next morning. So after reading this blog, if you have already decided to plan a trip to Tirthan Valley, you might want to take care of the following things as well.
Temperature Range in Tirthan Valley
If you wish to plan your trip to Tirthan Valley in summers, the temperature is generally ranging from 10 to 25 degree Celsius. You might not need too many warm clothes, but you reside in places like Rajasthan, 10-degree temperature might really invite some discomfort.
In winters, however, very fewer people visit Tirthan Valley. But if you have decided to explore the valley in tough season; temperature generally ranges from 0 to 5 degree Celsius in winters warm clothes re mandatory in this weather otherwise even trekking will be next to impossible for you!
Things to carry and NOT to carry:
- Shoes and clothes: Whether it’s a waterfall you wish to witness or Great Himalayan National Park, you will be on your feet most of the times. So wearing comfortable shoes and clothes for trekking is very important. Pack your sports shoes rather than boots, because they do not slip on the water.
- Avoid Heels: Carrying heels or fancy party apparel might just be a waste of your time and space in your bag, so do not carry the same.
- Warm clothing: you must carry warm clothes since the temperature might irritate you in between. As I mentioned before, in winters, the temperature might drop to a level that will need you to wear enough warm clothes. You can carry your camera or smartphones to capture memories but make sure you keep them in a safer place all the time. And thus, try and carry a small backpack so that you can keep your gadgets or other things secure in the bag without worrying about them being stolen or wet.
What to DO and what NOT to DO in Tirthan Valley
- Do NOT hurry: Since there is a lot of trekking involved while witnessing different destinations in Tirthan Valley, so make sure that you do not hurry with your steps! The floor and trekking path might be a little steep, so it is better to watch every step and do not hurry at your decisions.
- Do NOT be over smart: Sometimes being over smart is going to make you pay! For an instance, running on a steep floor or while trekking, going too close to the shore of the waterfall is really a serious concern as there are a lot of natural hazards happening on daily basis and I am sure you do not want to be a victim of the same.
Terms and Conditions
Whether you plan a trip through a travel advisor or planning to wander alone, there are few conditions you must keep a track of. Natural hazards and accidents are quite common on the Mountains and thus it is advised to pay a close look at your health and insurance policies before you start a journey to the valley.
The management of the place or the trip advisor you are visiting is not authorized or responsible for any accident or sickness you might face in the valley. You need to take proper responsibility for any equipment or transport service you are availing in the valley. In case of predicting landslides, it will be informed to all the tourists but they will be solely responsible for their lives in case of an accident through landslides, bad weather conditions, untoward accidents or theft.
It is important to keep yourself secure and safe every minute. Well, this is not really to scare you, but I am writing this so that you are well prepared for any hazard and accident in the valley. Yes, of course, you must be adventurous, but not on the condition of your life. Because if you will have not your life, you will not have these experiences to enjoy!
Your safety is in your hands and you can only take care of yourself. O what are you waiting for now? Pack your bags and enjoy the best experience of your life. Trust me, once you visit Tirthan Valley, you would want to visit this magnificent beauty again and again.
After this trip, you might want to explore many beautiful places again! Because work will go on and on but these trips are the real gems that you need to keep with yourself forever your life. If you are earning money, then you must spend the same on the right things. And I believe, money is well spent on experiences and not monetary things! An upgraded Xbox will not bring that excitement of touching down the top of any hill! The happiness of buying that perfect dress cannot beat the dancing sound of waterfalls which makes you forget everything for a second! Think about it, and tell me if I am wrong! You can buy a dress or a play station anytime you want, but you never know if the magnificent surprises of the universe will be accessible for Humankind forever or not.
